My rezzday

It was my rezzday! And what a wonderful day it was!

I spent most of the day with my Master. We had some (much) fun and pleasure. And then he spoiled me with gifts. New silks I got, one very fancy one from a new silk-creator.

Just a short note to all you silk-creators out there: Most of us boys are small. But most of your silks - no matter how beautiful they are - are build for giants! I don't know a single brother who wouldn't complain, that the silks are always too big. [Gotta mention "Solange" here, which at least has a very good resize-script in it, so that's no problem most of the times. But some others are a big problem.] Please, please, please - when you create a silk (or any other prim-cloth; this not only applies for silks) - use a very small shape to do it, with small hips etc. It's much easier to stretch something to bigger later then to make it smaller (which is mostly restricted by minimum-limits). And it's a bit annoying, when you spend 800 L$ for a silk, but then need so many hours to edit linked parts (and it has many of those!) that at the end you have the feeling, in this time you could as well have build it yourself.

However! Here you see me dancing between my Master (who surprised me with a cute xmas-silk... on his body. mmmmmmmm) and my brother Tesa at the surprise-party (Hehe - don't look too close! Those silks are not hiding much, especially not when your boyparts are swinging around in the dance-moves...) on Tidra. My Master had worked hard together with DJ Heloq to decorate it all. It was lovely!
All my three chain-brothers came and Masters Freki and Heloq and Marin... And my protectors Wildcat and Rio were there for a while, and brothers  Misha and Teale and Conny came also. I wished more brothers and friends would have had time, but not many were online at that time and later there was an OOC-dance at White Water.

From my brothers Wolf and Eagle I got a little desert fox. It's soooooo cute! Haven't found out yet, what it can do, but it purrs and snuggles in my shoulder and I can pet it and bath it (it's all wet then and doesn't look too happy with it. Well, it's a desert-fox! Not used to water, I guess.) I named it "Mehtap" which means "moonlight", because it's so white.

After Heloq had to finish his set - three hours later - we were still in the mood of dancing, so I went with my Master and with my protector Rio to the OOC-dance in White Water. DJ Syriana played and many people were there. The fun continued. Many good wishes from all sides.... one Master sent me a spontanuous, surprising gift (surprising, because I had never met him before)... brother Armond jumped out of a rezzday-cake... brother Justyn joined us and sweetheart Levi [Ewing] was there... and many others. I liked the bunny-hop!

So, one year Gor is over. Many happened in this time although it seems to me like just a few months. 365 days. Time to take a look back. I came to Gor as an escape. And I was about to quit after 6 days already. But then a friend brought me to Arad. And there my real story started. Gor! Love it, hate it.
I remember my first days on Arad. So exiting. Meeting Matteus, Misha, Mick, Hardan... and finally my Master the first time. All was new and I was so scared to do anything wrong. But it was a very good time.
Then the pathes parted, my Master's chain left Arad and came to Silver Tree. New Masters, new brothers, new friends. Another good time, though these pathes parted again and the chain finally settled down on Tidra, this beautiful and wild island. And again new friendships are sealed.

I'm happy here, even if sometimes I hate Gor. But important is, that I'm with my chain. My beloved Master, my beloved brother and secret companion Tesa, and my little brothers Wolf and Eagle. And our protectors, our friends... Yes, I'm happy and although RL wasn't easy for all of us, we are a strong family and the love for each other gives us strength and keeps us up.

But before I'm becoming too sentimental now, I better continue with updating the last too days. So, at the end of my rezzday I happy fell asleep in my Masters arms.
Today he granted me some time with my brother Tesa. We had fun together, bought a matching Santa-Kajirus-outfit and went to Tainted Boys for dancing and playing go-go-boys for DJ Heloq. I think we looked cute:

My brother-love was very tired then, so we went to bed. But I couldn't sleep, so I went outside to build a snowman and to send the picture to that Master from the OOC-party as a thank you. I hope he likes it:

Well, and now it's time to join my beloved secret companion again, cuddling at the fireplace. I just want to send out a big thank you to all those, who made my rezzday such a wonderful day, and my life on Gor so lovely.

Thank you!

Visit to the Dark Path

The other day my Master's companion was captured by the Dark Lord and left humiliated bound to a stock in the market of Tabor. My brother Wolf could escape and send a dove for help to the island. Well, that dove was a bit slow or lost direction, so it arrived a day later. Master Freki - not knowing, that Master Franzi was already freed - went with some other Guardians to the Dark Path to rescue Master Franzi. He left me a note about their mission, so I followed them. I had thought, the Dark Lord had captured Master Franzi again ((of course I knew better OOC *g*)).

It has not to be mentioned, that the mission was no success as there was nobody to rescue. But it was very exiting, especially as the Masters tried to burn the castle down (with no success, as it is very solid stone).

Freki McGillivary: looks to Fox and grins "Do you have Fire?"
Freki McGillivary: We should leave some flames
Testimo Haalan: no flintstones, Master, sorry
Testimo Haalan checks his rock-pouch, gets out some items to make sure "Hmmmm, normal rock... normal rock... peppermint-candy?"- licks - "nope! normal rock...."

About Kneeling

One of the many SL-Gor-Onlinisms is the permanent slave-kneeling. Sorry, but Slaves in the books didn't kneel and crawl all day long. Nope! Especially when there is no Free around... why the hack should they? But most brothers and sisters are so used to it, that they don't even recognize. And as it becomes a habitute, it looses all it's meaning. To gracefully slide down to your knees and bow your head before a Master or Mistress, to show him/her your respect... isn't that much more a sign of submission, then crawling towards him like a leg-amputee?

Greentings

I was at the academy again yesterday, passing the second test, while my beloved brother Tesa was passing the first one. And Master Marin's boy Conny passed the third. So we went celebrating afterwards.  But before that we had a lot of fun after meeting the school-physician. Well, "fun" in a more ironic way. First of all he let us wait 5 minutes after our greetings, because he somehow was away or inattentive. - This is one of the things I hate in SL-Gor. It's a disrespect to the player behind the screen. It's a waste of their online time. So, if you are too busy with other things or afk, then put your damn Meter to "away"! However, finally he answered the greetings:

Testimo Haalan slides to his knees as he sees the Master in green
Testimo Haalan clears his throat a bit to not scare the Master before he greets "Greetings, Master"
Tesakam Riler: Greentings, Master
Physician: Greetings, boys

I already burst out laughing at that point. "GREENTINGS"... - For all non-Goreans: Physicians wear the color green. Tesa said it was a Freudian typo, but I don't think so. *hehe* Well, that Physician was a bit stupid. It got even better. Conny joined us and after the typical greetings:

Conny Osterham: nice to meet you Master. Im conny from Tabor
Testimo Haalan looks from the Master to the painting on the wall and back to the Master's feet
Testimo Haalan: Are you the physician of this academy, Master, if I may ask?
Physician: Yes , I am XXX, Cheif physician of Mur
Testimo Haalan: nice to meet you, Master
Tesakam Riler: nice to meet you, Master
Physician: nice meeting you
Testimo Haalan considers, if he already learned the lesson, that a slave shouldn't tell his name, when he wasn't ask for it, or if it was the other way round
Conny Osterham thought it was mistake to say his name
Physician: a slave never speaks a Free's name unless given permission
Testimo Haalan: yes, Master
Physician: you may offer your name anytime

Here a big OOOMPH! Because:
1. I CONSIDERED, that means I THOUGHT. He cannot really READ my minds and answer in open speach to it. Use it as hint to finally ask for the names or not.
2. I didn't consider to speak HIS name, I considered if it was okay to tell OUR names without being asked for.
3. I'm pretty sure, that I've heard, that a slave doesn't tell his name, when s/he isn't asked for it. Why feed a Free with information he might not be interested in? That's obtrusive and not appropreate for a slave. But I'm not sure, if this is an Onlinism or a common slave-rule from the books. But I'm sure, that guy doesn't know it either for sure. So, I don't like guys, running around in Gor as "Masters" and feeding slaves with false information.
However, a Master is always right, even if he's talking bullshit. And somehow I experienced, that it is kind of relaxing to just say "Yes, Master" and laugh behind his back.

It got even funnier:

Conny Osterham bows
Conny Osterham: be well Master
Testimo Haalan bows and gets some paces back, before he turns out the gate
Physician: conny..
Conny Osterham looks back at Master
Physician: I dont mind.. but saying "be well" to some free is an insult
Physician: the correct slave term is : I will you well"
Conny Osterham: oh.....i appolisize for it Master
Conny Osterham: I will you well Master

Okay, you shouldn't laugh about other's typos and he's right - only Free use "Be well" as it could be taken as a command and slaves do not command, but we just couldn't help laughing and laughing and laughing. Well, okay, I admit - I think he's a nice guy. We really, really shouldn't have made fun of it. I only want to tell all so-called "Masters" out there: Be careful what you say or do, because the slaves might whisper behind your back like this:

[2009/11/12 16:44] Testimo Haalan: *wish
[2009/11/12 16:44] Testimo Haalan: but a Master is always right
[2009/11/12 16:44] Testimo Haalan: :P
[2009/11/12 16:45] Testimo Haalan bursts out laughing
[2009/11/12 16:45] Testimo Haalan: well done, Conny
[2009/11/12 16:45] Tesakam Riler: i go need to pee because i laugh
[2009/11/12 16:45] Conny Osterham: i should tell it some brothers in Tabor
[2009/11/12 16:45] Testimo Haalan: yes!
[2009/11/12 16:45] Conny Osterham: some of thme do mistake always in Tabor hehe
[2009/11/12 16:46] Tesakam Riler: did you know i greets him conny ?
[2009/11/12 16:46] Tesakam Riler: GREENtings, Master
[2009/11/12 16:46] Testimo Haalan: but he's right "Be well" is a command; slaves don't use it. "I wish you well" would be correct
[2009/11/12 16:46] Conny Osterham: hehehe
[2009/11/12 16:46] Testimo Haalan: say 3 times "I will you well" fast!
[2009/11/12 16:47] Conny Osterham: lets hurry to Tabor;P
[2009/11/12 16:47] Tesakam Riler: my love stop i gonna pee in my pant
[2009/11/12 16:48] Testimo Haalan: I need that lol-gesture from franzi!
[2009/11/12 16:48] Conny Osterham: me too
[2009/11/12 16:48] Tesakam Riler: let go before he come back

Well, after that, Conny showed us his Master's home and we danced a while on the pole before we finally went dancing to a club. A really nice and funny evening it was!

Mur Academy

Our Masters sent us boys all to school at the Mur Academy in Scimitar. It's not easy for me, as I have problems to write and read. *heh* Some just don't understand the RP, when I'm playing the naive boy and they don't get the humour behind it. Or maybe I'm just not funny? Don't know...

Like here with the "Champions" ("Hail" is a greeting for champions and expert swordsmen and kaissa-players. Of course *I* - the player behind it, knows "Champions". Hm, well, maybe the problem was, that champignons are unknown in English?)

Testimo Haalan: hmmmm, I have a question, brothers....
Mentor: yes fox?
Testimo Haalan: why do the Free greet mushrooms with 'Hail'?
Mentor: mushrooms?
Kajrius: I have not heard that brothers?
Mentor: Hail is to be used for great warriors or Free persons of accomplishment
Mentor: mushrooms? like the fungus?
Testimo Haalan: "yes... there!" - takes the paper again, his eyes searching for the word... "Here! Ch... Cha... Cham... Champ... Champignons"
Mentor: yes
Mentor: Champions
Testimo Haalan: oh, Champions!?!
Mentor: like great warriors who have won many contests
Testimo Haalan turns red
Testimo Haalan: and I wondered, why they hail Champignons
Mentor: is champignon mushroom in french?
Mickael Pevensey: yes it is
Mentor: there you go
Testimo Haalan nods "Thank you! Now it's clearer"
Mentor: ((like an Olympic Champion, in English))

However I passed test #2 now, was pretty nervous, but all went fine.

What I like there is, that they teach mostly after the books and not stupid Onlinisms, like every sentence would have to end with Master/Mistress (it isn't so!) or that slaves always would speak in third person (it isn't so!) or that slaves wouldn't be allowed to use "Tal" (they are!)  etc etc etc. Although I don't agree with some of their lessons like the rule, that a slave would have ask for permission to leave the keyboard. Hey, as player I really don't have to ask anyone for permission according my RL!!! And that "ask 3 times rule"... Hm, I don't know. If another PLAYER is inattentive and doesn't react to any greeting or whatever, because he's too busy in IMs or afk or just not interested, why should I waste my personal ONLINE-time as PLAYER??? Well, I am patient and give time to react, so I will wait. But this "rule" or unwritten law should accord to every RPer, not be a IC-rule you could be punished for. Sorry, bullshit.
